About Us

John F. Kennedy is one of the three elementary schools in the South Scranton section of the Scranton School District .  There are presently 409 students enrolled in our 4-year old Preschool through 5th Grade programming.

Our principles and practices are designed to meet the academic, physical, social and emotional needs of our students. Our instruction is child-centered and committed to developing each child's full potential.

Curriculum development is an ongoing process that lends itself to integrate the content areas of Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Mathematics.
